A wonderful memory from a glorious family holiday in Marazion. This scene was painted in situ on the beach at Marazion overlooking St Michael's Mount. Two of the tiny dots by the waters edge are my kids who went galloping off for a paddle. The sea was an unbelievable blue beneath the azure sky, and I was particularly struck by the way the light bounced off the rooves of the cottages around the little harbour at the end of the causeway. Who's for an ice cream?
This is a limited edition print of one of Mike's original watercolour paintings (the original has sold). It is printed at lab quality in 6 colours onto archival matte paper. The image measures approx 22cm (w) x 16.5cm (h), and is printed onto paper measuring approx 27cm (w) x 21cm (h).
